Kody Henderson funeral expenses

On October 10, 2021, Kody Henderson was taken from this earth too soon. Kody was everything you could ever hope for in a son, brother, teammate, and friend. He had a smile that could light up any room. It was simply the best smile. Kody’s sense of humor was unmatched. He always seemed to know when someone could use a laugh.

Kody was a student at Challenger Middle School during his 7th and 8th-grade year and was currently a freshman at Pine Creek High School. He was an athlete who loved all sports, but his passion was football. He was a treasured member of the Pine Creek Freshman football team. He ended every practice with a smile and loved more than anything being one of the “Boys of Fall”.

Above all else, Kody was a beloved son to Ken and Angela Montgomery and was a cherished brother to their daughters. Kody came to the Montgomery family through the foster care system, and as a result, they could not carry needed insurances that would assist them in covering expenses during this tragic time. David Russell and Jenifur Henderson, Kody’s biological parents, also feel his loss deeply and appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers.

The Montgomery Family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support. It means the world to them to know how loved Kody was during his short time on this earth.

All donations will go directly to the Montgomery family to help with the cost of the funeral. Any additional funds will be donated in Kody’s honor to the Pine Creek High School Football team and Brad’s House, a home for foster boys.
