Kobi’s Surgery and the Aftermath
Donation protected
Without getting into morbid and verbose details, my wife has essentially been incubating some nasty cysts that decided to make their presence known in the last couple of weeks.
It turns out she is going into surgery on the 20th of November. Depending on what they find when they cut into her (because apparently they can’t tell everything from the ultrasound) it may be more than one surgery to take care of her condition.
We are asking for help because we will have to pay almost all of our $2000 insurance deductible out of pocket for this upcoming procedure, due to all of our other medical conditions she is almost out of paid time off, and we are looking at losing a considerable chunk of income because she won’t be able to work while she is healing.
As you know, life doesn’t care about any of your setbacks and keeps throwing more at you whether you can handle it or not. We’d just like to be able to survive through this and come out the other side still breathing.
Thanks for taking the time to read our story.
