Knockout, a short action film

My name is Michael Dritto, and I got tired of waiting around for things to happen to me, so I'm taking matters into my own hands and am going to learn by doing and failing, but having fun at it.
I set myself a goal this year to shoot a series of short films across a diverse set of genres. I want to shoot at least one action film, horror film, and murder mystery. By doing this, I feel I will be able to experiment on how to use the camera and/or genre to become a better story teller. My ultimate goal is to creat movies that people really, truly enjoy.
Like I said in the video, the funding will help us obtain the remaing props, supplies, and equipment necessary to film the short. As well as feed our cast and crew.
That may sound like a small thing, but I am expecting to have around 15 actors/crew running around in the frame, and I will be asking them to give up 2 whole days without being to pay them. So I at least want to be able to supply them with food and make them comfortable and have fun so we can work together in the future.
Normally, I would simply attempt to save funds myself and acquire everything I need over time, but for this particular shoot, I had to work around the schedule of the location I wanted to book. This gives me a little less than a month to fully achieve my goal.
Your funding for this project won't be promoting just this one film, but setting me up with necessary equipment and experience to fulfill the rest of the films on my goal list for the years to come.
