Hi guys! I am Carrie Amanda Tiggas. October 4th 2017 I was diagnosed with cervical cancer at 36 years old. The next few weeks were a whirlwind of doctors appointment and news. We went from thinking it was something that could be knocked out with radiation and a little chemo to surgery and lots of chemo. I am stage 4 and the doctors don't expect me to live a year. Unfortunately I hadn't worked at my company for long enough to qualify for health insurance. Since I used to be an extremely healthy young woman I was willing to wait. This completely blinsided us. I am fighter and expect to be here a lot longer then a year. I am thinking of seeking out a second opinion with that will bring additional out of pocket cost. Since I am not able to work right now I do need help. I am very stubborn and hate to ask but will appreciate any help that anyone is able to give. Thank you so much and remember to get a pap!!!
