After being found unresponsive by his wife Lori, Nando was flown to Phoenix on Thursday, January 15th. He had a reaction to a new medication. He had to be intubated and was given a tracheostomy as well as put on a ventilator and had a feeding tube. He also has pneumonia in both lungs. Medical staff was not sure if he would make it or if he did if he would have brain damage. Nando continues to be in the ICU and is making progress slowly. He currently has a trach and still has the pneumonia. Thankfully he has been able to get off of the ventilator, walk, and write notes. Many prayers have been answered thus far in Nando's recovery so keep them coming! Nando and his wife Lori have three young children and another on the way. Any financial support you can give will be greatly appreciated to help ease the stress of expenses while not being able to work.
