On May 7th, 2020, Ethan Lund (15) suffered from a major cardiac arrest. He was given CPR for 45 minutes before he made it to Alomere Hospital in Alexandria and was immediately air lifted to Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. Due to the amount of time Ethan needed CPR, he suffered from major brain damage. Both side of his brain were affected during this and there has been some permanent damage. To what extent is unsure and only Ethan's fight he has will determine how far he goes. Ethan spent almost 5 weeks at Children's Hospital and is currently residing at Gillette's Hospital in St. Paul where they expect Ethan to be for a couple of months. Ethan is surrounded by his 4 parents. Jason (Dad) Kelsey (Mom) Nick (Stepdad) Shanel (Stepmom) They each take turns going to the cities and staying with Ethan so he is never alone. Doctors and nurses have each told us that Ethan wouldn't be as far progressed as he is if it weren't for us parents ensuring we are there to help his recovery. As we take turns to go be in the cities and trying to get in work hours, we are also working on getting our house handicap ready. We are so grateful for all of the donations and prayers we have received! We are so ready to Bring Ethan Home!
