Help Lay My Dad to Rest

On August 9th, 2021, my father, Marcus Martin, lost his life due to an ongoing mental illness which resulted in the police using excessive force. Because of this, he was pronounced dead on the scene.

August 6th, 2021, he lost his job. Because his insurance was covered through his job, we have no money to cover his death. So I made this page to help with that.

Losing a loved one to mental illness is very hard and knowing how close he is to my heart and not being able to properly bury him is a pain that is indescribable.

No one should lose their life over an illness that they can not control. He has struggled with this his whole life and has been overlooked time and time again. Which is why it ended this way.

P.S. THERE WAS NO HOSTAGE SITUATION NOR DID HE SHOOT IN THE DOORWAY! THEY BUSTED THE DOOR DOWN AND SENT THE ROBOT WHICH HE THEN SHOT THE ROBOT AND THEY OPENED ARMS ON HIM. THE NEWS IS A LIE!
