Kits for Kids - caring for NYC children

NYC Children Need You!

Dear friends, neighbors and strangers around the country with enough to help others!!

Help us care for NYC as we care for ourselves!!!

This campaign started because our beloved District 3 Middle School Social Action Club had the brilliant idea to send canned goods, can openers and hygiene kits (toiletries & first aid supplies) to kids in need around our city who live in homeless shelters or are underprivileged families struggling to stock up in this time of need.  

What are we doing with the funds?

- Our kits are roughly $5 each (toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, soap, comb). 

- This year, our focus is on purchasing coats, thermal clothing, gloves, and hats for young kids who are most vulnerable to the cold weather.

- We are mobilizing to set up a food delivery program (please email me if you have suggestions)

**We will keep ALL receipts for anyone interested. 

We are looking for any volunteers (in any city) to help coordinate deliveries with shelters and learning centers - please email me directly!
