Kirtland's Warbler Festival

Donation protected
We are fundraising for the Kirtland's Warbler Festival. This festival is an educational celebration of the Kirtland's warbler, its habitat, and the communities located in the jack pine ecosystem. Organizations and individuals come together to educate the public on the importance of natural resources and how conservation saved the Kirtland's warbler from the brink of extinction.

The Kirtland's warbler is a conservation-reliant species, meaning it will always need help from humans to survive. We want to celebrate the Kirtland's warbler and all of the organizations and people who worked to save it, such as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, USDA Forest Service, Michigan Department of Natural Resources, and Kirtland's Warbler Alliance, to name a few.

All of the funds that we raise will go to the Kirtland's Warbler Festival Planning Committee to be used for the festival on June 4th, 2022, at the CRAF Center in Roscommon, Michigan. Funds will be used to support this year’s festival by obtaining the necessary permits, reserving the venue and transportation to the tour site, paying presenters for their time and effort, and providing lunch to the volunteers and presenters.

Our planning committee is full of bird-loving members volunteering their time and effort to educate others on the importance of the Kirtland's warbler and its habitat. Your support means that we can continue to educate people and encourage future generations to support the Kirtland's warbler for years to come. Thank you for supporting this year’s festival about the conservation of this extraordinary bird and all our natural resources!
