Hi everyone.
If you haven’t heard the unfortunate news that Kirsty Hopgood (sports therapist from GB Women Days) has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma and is beginning treatment. Kirsty was there for all of us in our own times of need, so we felt it was the least we could do to try to help in some way – and what better way than hockey?!
We are going to host a charity game/GB U18s/women’s reunion to raise money for Macmillan, Cancer Research UK and Kirsty herself.
The game will be played at Oxford on 29th December 2019 4.30 – 6.30pm
Team Macmillan (green) will play against Team CRUK (pink) - these teams will be made up of players from Great Britain Senior and u18 teams from the years that Kirsty supported the team in.
Thank you so much
Jodie, Saff, Scoon and Lou on behalf of Kirsty’s Allstars
