Help Kirk "Donkey" Mobert with medical expenses

Hi all,

Our dear friend and community member Kirk Mobert, a.k.a “Donkey,” has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma.

As a beloved teacher thru Sundog School of Natural Building and one of the integral innovators of the modern Rocket Mass Heater, Kirk’s teachings and contributions have been vital in making accessible the interconnected, beautiful lives and communities many of us had only dreamed of participating in.

He shares his talents generously with humility and humor, and is approaching his diagnosis similarly.

He is starting 4 - 6 months of chemotherapy in early December. With help from his family, he has moved closer to the hospital and is enjoying time with his daughters. He will be unable to work for some time and will be facing copays and other medical expenses. We all know what an uphill battle this can be.

He cares deeply for his community, and we are all so grateful for how readily he puts his values into action. Now it is time for us - his friends and community - to support him!!!
