Kingston Life Center, Inc. is a faith-based 501(c)(3) organization that strives to moderate the negative impacts of economic disparity on families in and around Alpine, Alabama, including Talladega County, as well as surrounding Clay and Coosa Counties. Our efforts not only draw those we reach closer to God, but also provide many opportunities for socioeconomically insecure families to maintain stability during crises.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for the people we touch through the services and programs we offer.
Headquartered in Alpine, our intention is to establish a community-based life center that makes a positive difference in its community and surrounding area. We fulfill our mission through the delivery of social assistance to members of the community in need. Our organization is determined to play an active role in building a stronger future for all area residents. Supporting the development of mind, body, and soul, Kingston Life Center provides as many individuals as possible with a thorough foundation for future success.
Since our inception in 2013, our team has worked fervently to plan every aspect of our brick and mortar facility, as well as all details of proposed social service programming. We have been extremely fortunate to have received a contribution of 6 acres of land in our community, upon which to construct the proposed life center. Since receiving that gift, our team has raised the funds to complete the architectural renderings for the planned facility, as well as to complete the clearing and landscaping on the property. We are now poised to commence the first phase of our planned construction project.
Included in the multi-purpose building will be an auditorium, conference spaces, classrooms, offices, a commercial kitchen, restrooms, and ancillary spaces. The structure will have the capacity for an occupancy of 500 persons. Once erected, the structure will house a comprehensive community outreach center to meet the diverse needs of disadvantaged area residents through a continuum of care, with a focus on LMI families and senior citizens, who often find themselves isolated from necessary resources due to mobility issues.
