Kindy Playground Nusa Lembongan

I visited the local Kindy on the island of Nusa Lembongan recently and was horrified at how under-funded and under-resourced they were. The sad thing was that the children were so engaged in the learning but the teachers had nothing to work with. 

I was also so disappointed with their lack of play equipment and how un-safe the existing equipment was.

I chatted with Wayan, who has two children who attend and expressed my concerns, to which he agreed. A few of the local men have tried to fix things however, new equipment cannot be afforded.

I have organised a week busy bee with volunteers to assist building some nature-based equipment! We just need funds for the wood, and some supplies to make the playground fun again.

If everyone I know just gave $5 that would help immensly! Lets help these kids, who are our neighbours, play, and learn!
