Continuing the life of the opera, A KIND MAN

New Palace Opera is looking for your crowdfunding support to help give a new life-affirming opera A Kind Man, from Dame Susan Hill’s novel of the same name, a life after its premiere at London’s beautiful Hoxton Hall  with four performances in June 2022. 

Susan Hill said about the music to A Kind Man, "It is absolutely beautiful ... I can tell how good it is going to be, and I’m very thrilled to be a part of it."

Composed by me, Jonathan Finney, the opera tells a moving and ultimately optimistic tale of a couple, Tommy and Eve. The couple are grieving the loss of their daughter, when they experience a new blow and a miracle, a further loss and renewal of hope.
