Kincorth "Field of Dreams" Facilities Project

The Club:

Kincorth AFC, founded in 1984, is a very well-established Football Club in the North East of Scotland. The club participates in youth, grassroots & recreational football. Our home is situated on a large green space (Kincorth Field) in the heart of Kincorth, a suburb located to the south of Aberdeen accommodating an estimated 15-20k residents.

Kincorth AFC is one of the most successful and decorated football clubs in the history of the North East of Scotland, with a robust management infrastructure and solid community fanbase. The club is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association (SAFA), Aberdeenshire Amateur Football Association (AAFA), Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA) & Aberdeen & District Juvenile Football Association (ADJFA).

Kincorth AFC have remained a pillar of the Kincorth community and surrounding areas for 35+ years.

The Project:

Success on the pitch, has been coupled with major milestones off it, whereby we have recently received planning permission from Aberdeen City Council to install changing facilities on our home pitch (Kincorth Field) for the FIRST TIME in our history.

Coupled with the establishment of our newly created ‘Kincorth Emirates Youth FC', installing adequate facilities are 'of essence' to our future development. Over 50 children from the Aberdeen community have already committed to the club, which has been established with the sole aim of promoting sport in the area and encouraging youth participation and enjoyment at a grassroots level.

We are humbly seeking assistance to aid the purchase and installation of Modular Football Changing Room Facilities within our community, so that both children and adults can benefit and take part in football & sporting activities, promoting health and wellbeing in the community.
