Hello everyone my name is Kim I have Browns Sequard Syndrome which is a tear on the spinal cord this only affected my life by causing me to limp and fall over. On 5th November 2014 I had an operation to remove a tumour that pushed on my spinal cord causing it to be pushed outside of the bone I was told I would be walking in 7 days. After a 3 hour operation turned into a 7 hour operation then had no use of my legs was devastating the doctors couldn't understand why I had no use of them. I was in intensive care for three weeks and in hospital 4 months. The tumour was inconclusive. I am wanting to raise funds as I have the chance of Stem Cell treatment in Mumbai, India, after been told in England we are too far behind you would have to go abroad. So I have, I need to raise funds to be able to have this Stem Cell Treatment which will give me the chance to walk again. I am a very determined person and I want so desperately to walk again. I will also need Intensive Physio Therapy to rebuild my muscles when I've had the Stem Cell Treatment. So please I am asking for help to make this come true and to get me to India, my life has changed so much I just want to be given that chance to walk again. The money raised will pay for flights, taxis, insurance, medical visas, the stem cell treatment and intense physio therapy continued treatment when I get back.
