Kimmy's Summer Voice Festival Fundraiser

Hi Everyone--It's Kimmy!
I am so excited and honored to have been accepted into the Manhattan School of Music's Summer Voice Festival in New York City, this summer, from May 19th through June 30th.
"The Summer Voice Festival, started in 2009, provides intensive work for singers of college age and older. The six-week program, in the month of June, includes two weekly one-hour lessons with a member of the MSM voice faculty, as well as masterclasses, coachings, and daily classes in diction, acting, movement and other topics of interest for singers. All classes are taught by regular MSM faculty. Admission to this program is limited and interested singers are selected by audition."
I would be so thrilled and feel so privillaged to be able to participate in such a prestigious program, as well as gain experience working with an incredible staff of Voice Professors, Coaches, Directors, and Guest Artists. Not to mention, the experience of working with different voice students of all different ages, in NEW YORK CITY...This experience would definitely take me out of my comfort zone and allow for first-hand experience in a BIG city.
I am holding this fundraiser simply because I cannot afford the cost of the program alone. The cost of tuition, dormatory-living, and travel exceeds $5,000. Any and all money raised will go strictly to each of the item-costs mentioned above.
I am incredibly thankful for all of the support I have received from all of my friends, family, and teachers who have continuously supported and encouraged my craft as a young vocalist. It would mean so very much to me to raise as much funding as I can so that I can participate in this wonderful opportunity that has been presented to me!
