Kimmie needs heat

I’ve recently learned that a family member of
mine has gone without proper heat for an
extended period of time now. I’m writing this
from Tennessee buy my Aunt lives in the
mountains of Pennsylvania; which at this
current time is under a severe winter storm
warning. Unfortunately Kimmie and her family
don’t have much outside of each other in terms
of support. With various family members being
spread across various states none of which are
and easy drive to get to her. 

I have never known her to be the kind of person to reach out for help. She suffers from muscular dystrophy and despite the vast physical
limitations the disease has; she has always
managed. Never asking, never begging. So I’m asking, it’s cold right now and with being on
disability and having a fixed income the cost of a new furnace is outside her reach. At the moment she is using small kerosene heaters to keep warm but that’s potentially dangerous and
inefficient. Winter weather could potentially
leave them stranded and in a situation that they could not get more kerosene for the heaters.
They desperately need a permanent solution.
We have estimated the cost of a furnace for
their trailer at about 1,000-2,000 not including
delivery and installation we will be working to
get a solid estimate on total cost this week
during business hours. Any remaining money
will be given to Kimmie and family to help with
any additional winter repairs the trailer is
requiring. No help is to small and all help is
appreciated.
