We are Troubadours of Divine Bliss and these are our beloved friends, Kim and Peg! (pictured left to right, Renee, Kim, Aim Me and Peg). We created this page to help them after a difficult and devastating week of loss.
They are two of the most selfless, kind and loving souls on this planet and have experienced a devastating break in to their home this past week. Their safe was stolen by a thief. It included cash, passports, birth certificates, jewelry from Peg's grandmother, mom and dad, rare coin collections, retirement investments, etc. and in their words, "the mother lode".
Police believe that someone knew where it was and what they were taking. Kim and Peg made an unplanned trip from the house for only about an hour. During that time someone broke in and took their safe and all of its contents. They did not take anything else from the house. This person knew exactly where the safe was and knew they were leaving home or were watching the house.
In Kim's words,
"It had everything of value to us personally, sentimentally and financially. Gone. Police believe that someone we know took it, as it appears they went right for it. To think that someone we know has taken our past, our present and our future is devastating. "
In Peg's words,
"We are devasted. Personal items that cannot be replaced and basically our retirement investments. They took only the safe. My iPad was on the bed, checkbook out, jewelry out. Nope. Just the safe... I have very strong faith in God, but I am not sure it can survive this."
If all this wasn't enough, their insurance company is only covering $1200 of their losses. They are trying to remain positive, but this would this is a devastating loss.
Anyone who knows Kim and Peg know that they are always at the ready to help someone in need. They are incomparably kind and generous and always willing to lend a helping hand. They volunteer weekly to help the homeless in our community, they work daily to uplift children and teens, they are always the first ones that offer to be there for you when you are in need, they are valuable volunteers that help put on the Mighty Kindness Hoot and so much more.
They have filled all of our lives with so much joy and love and now we have an opportunity to give back and help them feel the love.
Please reach deep into your heart and reach out to give them all you can to help them begin to rebuild.
