Kim's Medical Fund

I want to introduce to my daugher-in-law, Kim. I know this picture of her is not very pretty, but as you can see she's a pretty sick lady.  Kim has been in the hospital for over a week now with COPD and congestive heart failure, just to name a few.  She has been on a ventilator since she arrived and is in a medically induced paralysis, to keep her calm and reduce muscle activity.  With all the fluids they are giving her to receive the meds, her one kidney is unable to rid her body of the excess fluids and as you can see from her hands she is retaining so much and it is putting a strain on her heart and other organs, and the next step may be dialysis.  She is close to having to have a tracheotomy as at a certain point there is a high risk of infection if she stays on the ventilator. In one of the ultra sounds done it shows a possible blockage and narrowing in an artery and they will have to do a heart catheter and a renal catheter to check that out, but first things first I think. Kim has been sick for a while and had to quit work.  She had paid for long term disability through work but that ran out in June. That was paying for their insurance and when that stopped it added to the financial burden.  On top of all this with the upcoming new year and the insurance deductibles starting over her husband Bill has know idea how they can handle this and how it will affect her health care. This is the reason I have set up the GoFundMe account for them.  I am asking for financial help for them during this season of giving from  friends, family and yes, even strangers who will open their hearts and help with the personal and medical financial burden that is on their shoulders. Bill has been there with and for her except to go home and feed their kitties.  Any help will be so appreciated, no contribution is too small, even $5 or $10 will help.  Kim is a fighter and takes baby steps and will fall back some, but starts the baby steps again. I'm sorry for the length  of this but want you know how serious this is, how she is fighting for her life, and how much the two need some financial help and prayers.
