Kimberly Oswalt was a happy, sweet, God loving 17 year old normal high school girl when she was diagnosed with Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Cancer is one of the scariest things anyone can ever imagine facing, yet she and her family stood strong in their faith, knowing God had His hand in this. She missed a lot of senior year, but still stood strong and walked across the stage at graduation! She fought hard for 3 years. 2 battles with Leukemia, kidney failure, chemo and radiation treatments, a bone marrow transplant, and the list keeps going. She never backed down, but neither did her family. Today, November 24, she passed away. But we would like to help her family with anything they may need. One problem was because of financial issues, both parents couldn’t be with her at the same time. We would like to raise enough money to help cover some of the funeral cost (all if possible), and give both parents time off work to be home and be together. We need the whole community to come together to help this sweet family.
