Kim Durbin needs our help!

I have known Kim Durbin for approximately 15 years.  She is full of energy and not much gets her down.  Her positive attitude is catching.  In the beginning of August, Kim set out to visit her two adult children in NC, and the first night there, fell out of a bed unknown to her, and hit her head on a nightstand, causing a spinal cord injury.  This injury has left her without her fine motor skills, although she is healing daily.  Just this week, she was able to tie her own shoes and brush her teeth.  Her friends celebrated with her!  

Not only am I Kim Durbin's friend, but I am her employer.  She is a Pre-K teacher's aide at a local public school during the week, and she works as a server in my busy café on the weekends, where she is missed terribly by her clients!  She has built a friendship with so many!  However, she is obviously out of work currently, and what she saved by working at the café is about out.  If you want to help her out by contributing to her medical and living expenses, I know her gratitude would be immense.  She hasn't asked for this, but I know she could use it desperately.  Two of her customers came into the café this past weekend, and gave me cash to help her, and suggested I start this page, which I have never done, but agreed that it could be a great help to her.  Thank you for your thoughtfulness that goes into your donation!

She returns to the neurosurgeon on October 8th to determine if further surgery is needed, and if you cannot currently donate, please say a prayer that surgery will not be necessary and that complete and rapid healing is in store for Kim!
