Kim Barone's Funeral Expense Fund

UPDATE: It's with a heavy heart that I update all of you that my sister-in-law, Kim Barone, lost her long battle today. Heaven has gained an angel and she will be greatly missed by everyone. Please keep my brother, Frank and his kids and all Kim's family and friends in your prayers. Thank you for all your support.

It is never easy to face the situation that Frank, Kim, Frankie and Bianca Barone are facing right now. Kim has been fighting a disease called Chronic Auto Immune Deficiency and Diabetes. This Chronic Illness has caused many, many hospital stays at several different hospitals for Kim and she has been such a strong person all along. She has fought this Illness that has tried to bring her down. Kim wants to live her life on her terms, not the terms of this NASTY disease. She wants to see her children grow up and make her more proud than she could ever imagine they could. She made it to their sport games, volunteered at the games and went above and beyond despite her illness. She stayed strong and never let it hold her back. Even on the days she was tired and weak, she would not let it stop her.

Kim, Frank and the kids are now facing the biggest struggle with this illness they have ever had. On Monday, July 10, 2017, Kim was found unresponsive and rushed to the hospital. She has been in the

 Intensive Care Unit in a medically induced coma with a ventilator. She is having seizures and despite all the testing, the doctors cannot figure out what is causing all this. She is not responding to anything the doctors are trying and they are wanting to do more testing, which means more expense.

The medical expenses over time have been adding up and the health insurance is not covering the majority of the expense. This has not been easy for this family that does everything and anything for anyone. Kim and Frankie have helped with fundraisers and have volunteered over many years, .....I am now asking for you all to help give back.....Please help anyway you can with these expenses that are burdening this family that has already been through so much. Please help so the testing and medical treatment that Kim needs and deserves can be a reality. Every little bit will help...and also, please keep Kim and family in your prayers....they have a long road ahead of them, let's help pave that road.
