Hello friends.
My sister and I have created this page to honor our parents and to provide the final services they deserve.
For those who are unaware, on December 30th we lost our father to a sudden heart attack. Two days later, on January 1st, we lost our mother after a long fight with Multiple Sclerosis.
Due to the nature of the illness and the suddenness of both parents passing, we’ve found ourselves in the uncomfortable position of reaching out to our communities and families to properly put them to rest.
We’ve set a goal of $6000 to cover the costs related to both funerals, and would use the excess (if any) to cover home expenses such as mortgage, utilities, other debts related to our family’s home, and the family's wellbeing.
We understand this request comes at the end of the holiday season, when money is tight for everyone, and are thankful for any contributions made on the family’s behalf.
As an additional request, please reach out to your loved ones, however far away, and give them the gift of your time. So often we think of time as something spent, when in reality, time is something shared. And time shared with the ones you love is worth more than any worldly possession they leave behind. It’s the one thing that is truly priceless.
