Kim and John's medical and recovery

This campaign is to raise money for a beautiful couple, and dear friends, Kim and John. I met Kim many years ago, and consider her to be among the most hardworking, caring, and loyal people that I know. Through our friendship, I witnessed Kim and John grow and deepen their relationship, before getting married last year. It was with great joy that the newlyweds announced they were going to add to their family, with the addition of a new baby boy.

Throughout Kim’s pregnancy, it was so touching to witness both Kim and John grow more excited as the due date neared. It was also a testament to their characters in the outpouring of love they received through check ins, well wishes, and baby gifts to prepare for their upcoming arrival. Tragically, Kim and John suddenly lost the baby, just over a week before baby Jace was due. The cause is still unknown, and the family is struggling greatly. Kim and John face mounting medical bills due to her surgery and stay in the hospital. This is an unnecessary burden for this loving couple to face, as they are heavily in the grief process.

This fund will go towards Kim’s medical bills due to her surgery and stay in the hospital, and toward maintaining household expenses as they take time to heal and recover from this devastating loss. It was such a joy to experience Kim and John’s community rally around them in their time of celebration, and it is so important that we show the same fervor and commitment to them in their time of loss. They need this love and support now more than ever before.
