Kilimanjaro for Derek

A year ago I lost my old friend Derek Mitchell to MND. I watched Derek mount a magnificent three year fight against this horrible disease, but even his great mental and physical strength proved no match for the ruthless relentless progression of MND. I would prefer that Derek be able to climb Kilimanjaro with me, but that cannot happen. My daughter Merrin and three of her friends will join me in climbing the Mountain in memory of Derek, and raise some funds for MND NSW.

We also provide information and education about motor neurone disease for health, community and residential care professionals. Currently we receive only 15% of our funding from NSW Government, the rest we need to raise through fundraising.
