Kids 'N Community Canes Alumni Game

Thank you for donating to my cause. I am excited to announce that I will be participating in the 7th annual Carolina Hurricanes Alumni Fundraiser Game on January 13, 2018!
Each year the Hurricanes host a hockey alumni game raising money to benefit the Kids ‘N Community Foundation. As "The Heart of the Carolina Hurricanes," the Kids 'N Community Foundation strives to meet the health and educational needs of underserved populations and strengthen youth hockey in our community through programming and financial assistance to local, youth-oriented organizations.
Since the establishment of the non-profit Foundation in 1997, over $14 million in cash has been awarded to non-profit organizations that focus on enhancing the lives of youth in our community. With the ongoing support of annual special events, Hurricanes players, staff and the corporate community, the Kids 'N Community Foundation is able to fund many causes including scholarship programs, youth hockey initiatives, education and literacy efforts, health programs and the arts. Through the Alumni Game and other fundraisers, the Kids 'N Community Foundation donated $560,000 in cash grants to 29 different children's charities and foundations in North Carolina during the 2016-17 season.
One of these many organizations that the Kids 'N Community Foundation supports is Capital City Crew. I have been a volunteer coach for the past 3 years with Crew helping to teach the kids from a few different Wake County Boys and Girls Clubs how to play hockey for free along with learning valuable life skills. On top of volunteering, I am excited to have another opportunity to support Crew and the kids!

My fundraising deadline is Dec 23, 2017 at 11:59pm. Donations are tax deductible, but please contact me directly to donate if you need to file a tax deductible donation.
If you are available and in the Raleigh, NC area on Sat, Jan 13, 2018, please come watch me skate at PNC Arena in the Canes Alumni Game alongside friends who are participating and former Hurricanes Players. Admission is free, but you can donate additional money at the door. Time details will be announced later.
