Help Donate a Kidney

Dr. Jeanne Ficociello, a wonderful human being and exceptional Internist, is at about 17% kidney function. Two beautifully amazing people have already tried to donate their kidney to Jeanne, but in the end neither worked out. To those two people, whomever you are, you are heroes for trying to pull off such a selfless and thoughtful gesture.

A Belleville West teacher, from the St. Louis area, has graciously offered to donate their kidney. Jeanne's insurance covers all of the testing, but unfortunately none of the travel expenses. If this wonderful teacher is chosen for kidney donation that would be two trips to the Boston area, with the second visit lasting upwards of a week. That's going to be roughly $2200 for the airfares and hotel expenses.

I am asking for help in raising this money so that this remarkable teacher, who shall remain anonymous, can hopefully save the life of an amazing person. Both of these people have made a huge impact on my life. It would be incredible if these separate worlds of mine could come together in such a beautiful expression of human kindness, love, and compassion (something our country seems to be lacking a lot lately). So please help, if you can, make this good deed move forward.

When we need funds I'll withdraw them and give to whomever needs them for travel expenses.
