Kidney Transplant overnight lodging

Unfortunately, NYC and hotels are not cheap. But they are necessary to ease the strain of having to travel daily to the city. As many of you know, I am scheduled to donate a kidney to my mother this Thursday 10/5/17. The day before she has to go in to have a central line put in (6:45am arrival) and I have to be at the hospital early morning of surgery. To ease SOME stress, we have decided it would be easier to stay in the city as to not have to travel and worry about traffic making us late for such important events. My parents and I will be in the hotel Tues-Wed, my father and I Wed-Thur and tentatively him alone Thurs night. I am simply asking that you consider helping to ease the financial burden of lodging during such a stressful time in our lives. If I could front the money for my parents, I wouldn't be asking. Any additional money raised will go towards gas,  daily hospital visitor parking for the hospital stay and our check ups with the surgeons and transplant team over the weeks/months following.
