Jerald Collens Kidney Transplant

Jerald Collens is a 58-year-old resident of Glendale AZ who needs a lifesaving kidney transplant. He needs the help of his friends and community to make it happen. Transplants are lifesaving but very expensive.
20 years ago Jerald was diagnosed with IGA Nephropathy. IGA Nephropathy is a condition that has symptomatic treatments but no known cure. While preparing for the financial aspects of transplant, Jerald has been blessed to discover that his son is a match and will be providing donation of a kidney in Sept/18.
The cost associated with the medical expenses and donor(s) can be monumental as there will be medical expenses that are not covered by insurance: co-pays, anti-rejections medications, travel expenses for the donor can add up and are more than Jerald can handle on his own and via family.
To help with the financial burden of the uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign has been established in honor of Jerald Collens with Help Hope Live, (www.helphopelive.org) a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to help patients and families in need for more than 35 years.
