Jonathan Colbert is a loving father with three young children. He spends his time trying to motivate and encourage his children to be the best they can be.  Staying connected to his children is important to him.  In June of 2014 Jonathan had to be taken to the emergency room, due to not being able to breathe and chest pain.  During his visit to the ER, the doctor discovered that he had fluid around his heart, that needed to be drained.  Once the fluid was drained and he was able to breathe properly he was told by the Physician that he had Lupus.  Over the next few years in and out of the hospital, the Lupus was attacking his kidneys.  On April 21, 2017 Jonathan was put on dialysis.  He has had several minor surgeries during his time while on dialysis.  Jonathan has recently started his evaluation process for a kidney transplant, at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth Texas.   How you can HELP:  1.
