Kick Cancer's Butt for John

John is the kind of person that makes everyone laugh and loves doing it. He is my best friend and deserves the best life can offer. Right now, in just over a month he has gone through more than anyone should have to deal with. He had a small accident in his electric wheelchair and in emergency they discovered a tumor in the speech area of his brain. In the span of four days he had many scans and tests done and underwent a craniotomy to remove most of the tumor. He spent a long 2 weeks in hospital without his adorable service dog Bella. The results showed it to be glioblastoma multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer.
Currently he is going through chemotherapy and this round of radiation treatment for 6 weeks. There are some wonderful other alternative treatments that he is embarking on, along with more appointments, medications and other expenses not covered to help him fight this. He is on a limited disability pension and as everyone understands, the cost of fighting cancer is very expensive. We are trying everything we can possibly do to assist him in the long battle to keep this tumor from growing back for as long as possible. As much as anyone doesn't like to ask people for help (especially him as he is the independent type) he really needs all the support he can get from the many wonderful people out there whose lives he has touched. This is a scary and uncertain time for all of us and if we can raise money to reduce some of the stress on him then he can let his mind, body and soul focus on the physical fight. I believe that while all of us can pray and send good wishes that we may also be able to help him in any small way financially to aid him with the many other alternative cancer treatments, other costly medicine and keep him on his healthy all natural diet for his immune system to fight back. Every single penny goes to taking care of his needs to keep him fighting and winning this battle for as long as the Lord blesses him. He has always been there for so many people throughout his life and now we pray that every single person that is able to help him will know that they are extra special and fighting this fight along with him. Please help us help John kick cancer's butt because I know he's strong and we can do it together. God bless all of you.
