Lahore Science Mela 2022

The Lahore Science Mela (LSM) represents a unique effort to spread a passion for science and technology among the Pakistani public and students, both boys and girls. Organized by the non-profit Khwarizmi Science Society (KSS), this year's LSM will be held in a large public school of Lahore, DPS, Model Town on the 29th and 30th October 2022.

This citizen science festival is absolutely free and open-to-all. You do not need to purchase any ticket to attend or pay any fee to get an exhibition stall. The two-day science festival embraces visitors from all walks of life, emulates the essence of a live science museum, and inspires the masses with the wonders of science and technology. We now seek community support to organize the fourth Lahore Science Mela. Among other spheres, your donations will help us:

1. Provide support to the students and teachers who will head to Lahore in October from far-flung cities and areas of Pakistan.

2. Encourage young girls and boys in STEM by awarding them prizes and scholarships.

3. Set up a large central exploratorium at the festival with enthralling science experiments and performances for everyone.

4. Enable the participation of world-renowned international organisations and speakers at the festival. This is expected to profoundly galvanize the youth of Pakistan.
