Khun’s Birthday - Give Water to 999 Balinese Kids
Tax deductible
My birthday is about a week away (on October 25th) and this year I'd like to help 999 Balinese children gain access to drinking water, through Gravity Water’s work.
I had this idea after spending 12 hours visiting three schools in Kintamani Region of Bali in September. The students didn’t have clean drinking water at school. The 10+ students in this photo I met deserve to have access to WATER.
Having safe drinking water gives children more time to play and study. Sadly, water is a luxury for about 34% Balinese students.
This is the first time I'm doing a fundraising like this, just for Gravity Water where I’m serving as a Member on the Board of Directors for 2019-2020.
Gravity Water is a fairly young U.S. nonprofit organization working to help children in schools access safe drinking water. Bali, Indonesia is one of their newest provinces of operation.
Just a US$8 donation to Gravity Water will give drinking water to one child.
US$7,992 Fundraising + US$200 Transaction Fees = US$8,192
Any amount you are able to contribute will definitely help.
Gravity Water’s rainwater harvesting solution works. I know it!
I experienced firsthand drinking out of Gravity Water’s system at Songan Elementary School in Kintamani. https://blog.dojobali.org/social-impact/bringing-clean-water-to-bali/
Also, I truly believe that we can soon bring clean water to ALL Balinese students. https://blog.dojobali.org/social-impact/can-we-bring-clean-water-to-all-balinese-schools/
My determination has never been this strong before. Whether you are in the world, you can help us in our endeavor.
