As most of you know my mom has been battling the horrible disease of Alzheimer's for the last few years. The time has come to find a place for her to live and properly be taken care of. It's with heavy heart, but it's what's best for her. My amazing aunt and uncle have found a home near them in Chulota where they will be able to check in on her and ensure she is living a fulfilling and healthy life.
Now to the reason I'm here. Unfortunately good care comes at a cost. We tried this road last year and know how much this costs. Unfortunately her social security leaves her over $1000 short monthly for anyplace that can provide the care she needs. My family is trying to apply for supplemental help but in the mean time I am asking for a little extra support. My mom spent her whole life fundraising, donating and giving to others. I know she's blessed with a lot of amazing people in her life. If you can spare anything to make this an easy transition, we would be extremely grateful.
