Jesse's vet bills

I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my brother Robert. Robert has a dog named Jesse that was found on the street almost 12 years ago. Since then, these two guys have been inseperable and wherever Rob goes, if dogs are allowed, Jesse is in the truck with him. 

Last weekend, October 7th, my brother was being his typical helpful self and readying to go help a friend move. This meant Jesse needed to stay home. Rob hooked Jesse up to his aeriel lead where he's got plenty of room to run, access to his food and water as well as shelter for whatever the weather may bring. After hooking him up, he drove the 30 minutes to his friend's house. Upon arriving, the attendant at the gate to the community mentioned Rob had something dragging...

To his utter horror, my brother found his dog's collar hanging on the trailer hitch with about 20 feet of lead behind.  He was frantic and searched his route repeatedly, fortunately not finding his dog dead but still, he was missing. This dog is his baby. 

Rob wasn't able to get onto his Facebook account so I posted on his behalf to get the word out. Many prayers and offers of help and support later, last night Jesse was found!!! He's now at the animal hospital where he will remain for a couple days. He's scraped up, dehydrated and scared but he will recover.
