Khloes Medical Bills and Recovery

Donation protected

On Wednesday August 16th around 1130am my daughter Khloe and myself were taking our usual walk on our usual route with our 13 year old dog, Doggie. Our lives all changed in a split second when a pitbull came out of a fenced in yard and 1st went and attacked Doggie then turning to Khloe. This attack was completely unprovoked. My dog is deaf and was about 2 feet behind me smelling some grass. I turned around to call him and when I turned around the dog was on the other side of the fence. He stood there staring at us for a second and took off running to Doggie. After releasing Doggie from being locked onto his neck for a minute . He then turned on Khloe. I stood there screaming helplessly trying to help my sweet babygirl as I watched her pants start to soak with blood. The look of pure terror on her face will forever haunt me. After releasing khloe a man that came out of the house where the yard is yelled at the dog and grabbed it walking it back to the yard. The people who live in the home are claiming they don't own the dog and they don't know where it is. Because of the laws - the police and animal control can't go searching their home - so we don't know whether they have the dog hiding in their home, if it was taken somewhere else, etc etc. Knowing this dog is still around somewhere is the most uneasy feeling. Especially when I have to take Doggie out to go to the bathroom. This whole situation is truly horrible. I wish so bad I could trade places with Khloe ...

Unfortunately, nobody will probably ever step forward to take ownership off this dog and take responsibility and give my daughter justice. She will have medical bills, she has numerous doctor visits in the near future in Allentown, recovery, along with Doggies vet bills. We would also like to meet with an attorney and discuss what rights we have as being innocent victims. This dog came from somebody's backyard - whether they want to claim it is theirs or not - my daughter has to have some type of rights in this situation

We don't have much but our family has a lot of love and compassion for others. This tragic situation has turned not just Khloes life but all of ours upside down. I never thought I'd be in this position but any donation will be greatly appreciated. Whatever isn't used I'd like to put away for Khloe to be used later in life.

I can't express how thankful we all are and how much we appreciate all the thoughts, prayers, well wishes, and gifts that our family and friends and complete strangers from the community have dropped off. My daughter is an amazing little girl with a beautiful smile and amazing spirit. She has a good soul and forgiving heart. She did not deserve this and myself and my family will not stop trying to seek justice for her!

Thank you so much for all of your compassion and love!
