Khari’s Leukemia Battle

Hi, My Name is Naquesha Jackson. Mother of Ja’khari Nehemiah Butler who I am fundraising for. At just 15 months old little baby Khari was diagnosed on June 12,2021 with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia(T-ALL). Which is An Aggressive Rare Blood Cancer. That’s a parents worse nightmare. I can’t even begin to explain to you as a Mother how I felt at that very moment being told the heart breaking news that my babyboy has an fast spreading Aggressive Cancer. That needed to be treated soon as possible. I know I couldn’t even imagine living life without my Son. My life was shattered, my heart was breaking down inside, “not my baby, “not my baby” is all I can scream, I scream until I couldn’t scream anymore. During my melt down God whisper to me “Get up, Get up Now”,because I got you and little Ja’khari but the first step is Getting up. And I Got up and at that moment I knew it was time to FIGHT!!! FIGHT with FAITH, COURAGE, BELIEF, FAMILY, FRIENDS, LOVE, SUPPORT. FIGHT!!!!

Khari was born right at the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic. That itself was very frightening. Khari has always been a Bright kid, and full of life. He have a smile out of this world that would just light up anybody’s day. He’s a sweet, gentle and loving normal boy who at one point use to love playing with all sorts of toys, and gadgets. At just 1years old he had a love for fashion. He absolutely loves the Song “Beatbox” even to this very day. When he has his chemo treatments and when he’s down. That song “Beatbox” still seems to put a smile on his face and although he can’t dance like he use too, he still manages to throw one hand up to move to the beat. Now That’s The God I know.

• Khari has a 3 year Battle Journey ahead that will require Intensive Chemotherapy. Khari has already gone through a month of Chemo. Which has really been tough on his body, us and our lives. He will be starting his next consolidation phase of intense treatment for the next 8 to 12 months. Then light treatment for the next 2 years. We are fundraising for little Khari because due to this factor like any parent. We have quit our jobs to be hands on 24/7 with him. Khari will have travel 3 hours to and from 2 twice a week, sometimes 5 times a week to Children’s hospital for His Treatments. He will need help with Medical bills,Treatments, Prescriptions,Transportation to and from, Pediatric Development and Neurology Counseling, Happy lift me up Items, clothes, shoes, diapers, wipes, gloves, sanitizers, etc. It’s a lot on top of raising 4 other children besides him. Any donation is greatly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.

I want you all to know Khari has been through a lot this last month. More than I have ever been in my entire life and I have 5 children. To see my babyboy go through what he has been through in such a short time of him living on this Earth. Tears my heart into pieces. He’s so strong though. We are Firm believers of God and we Serve him and we have Already Claim It in Jesus Name. Because “The Lord is my Strength and my Song: he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him, my fathers God, and I will exalt him”. Exodus 15:2
