Khansaa's Heart

Khansaa was born with a critical Congenital Heart Defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. It is a very serious disease that has no cure, and requires three open heart surgeries to help alleviate the symptoms.  She received one of the three surgeries shortly after birth (March 2, 2018), and was scheduled to have the second surgery back in August 2018. She was admitted into the hospital  August 27, 2018, and after careful evaluation by Khansaa's doctors/specialists, they discovered that she was showing signs of heart failure. Due to this change in the condition of her heart, Khansaa was evaluated and listed for a heart transplant on September 11, 2018. Khansaa just received her new hero heart on September 25, 2018, and is now recovering in the hospital. This is just the  beginning of her life-long journey as a heart transplant recipient, and the costs associated with her medical needs are very expensive. This campaign is being created to help cover costs for Khansaa's medical needs, and help alleviate some of the financial burden on Khansaa's family.
