Brian Muenchow Aortic Dissection

Donation protected
I want to thank everyone for your prayers, well wishes and inquiries about my son, Brian Muenchow who suffered a major aortic dissection on September 15, 2015.  He was only 36 years old at the time!  By statistical figures he should not still be here with us but God had other plans and for that we are so very grateful. We are extremely thankful for the emergency room doctors and nurses in Kyle, Texas whose quick and intelligent thinking put Brian in the Air-lift helicopter and on his way to Seaton Hospital in Austin and directly to the OR.  This quick decision saved his life.
To update you on Brian's recovery because many are asking, he is on the road to a remarkable recovery. At the time of the incident he underwent a 9hour surgery to reconstruct his aorta. We don't understand all that entails but trust the surgeon when he explained that is was a long and difficult proceedure.Since then he underwent another surgery to place stints in the weakened aorta.  He suffered a scary set-back with this proceedure.  Once again God heard our prayers and he pulled though.  Several emergency trips to the ER because of blood pressure/heart rate problems since then has kept us on our knees praying for him.
He is now trying to re-invent his life after suffering such a catastrophic ordeal.  He is a remarkable young man with a  strong desire to move on from this.  He realizes this is his second chance in life and is optimistic about its prospects.  This is where you can help him if you are able.  The life he was going for is proving to not be possible.  He was in training to become an auto mechanic but this is not going to be possible because of the physical and stressful demands and he is faced with overwhelming medical bills, expensive medications, starting a new career, losing medical insurance and the probability of having to move to find work. Until he can figure out where he goes from here he could use some help...not only financially but also in finding a job.  Anything you can offer will help greatly--$5, $10, $20 --more if possible.  Yours continued prayers and job placement leads are appreciated.  He has a loving family and is blessed with amazing friendships.  We are all pulling together to rally around him and help him through this difficult time.  Thank you.
