For those of you who know my Aunt Delilah St. John know that she started declining very quickly! It was than that the lord decided it was time for her to come home to be with her family after her and her immediate family (Husband, daughter, grandchildren) ran into some hard times financially while living in Ohio. In December we had her and all the family move back home. It was than that we knew that all this was suppose to happen! We all know that the lord has his way of doing things. She was already in Renal failure, and had to start on Dialysis, than we found out she needed a triple bypass after she kept passing out during mobility. The doctors said in order to do the surgery she had to become more stabilized ( Blood pressure on track, eating properly, she needed to be stronger physically and mentally able, etc) She was sent home on a life vest( at any point her heart could stop) After several more doctors visits and Er visits she was transferred back to the hospital and has been there going on a month. Within the last 2 days, she decided it's time to go "home" as the doctor said she has been saying for the last week. She stopped eating a week ago, she has suffered 2 heart attacks since last night, multi organ failure, discoloration, and is on full life support! According to the doctors she has a 10% chance of surviving, and that's working on a miracle! I do believe in miracles and don't doubt god for anything! He is the greater physician! Tomorrow 02/14/2018 My family had decided to pull the plug on life support, and we are asking for prayers! My Uncle Gary and Aunt Delilah fell on hard times, and are living off of social security. They have no money, no life insurance policy's and we are asking out of the kindness of our hearts if you are able to give please do! Her wish is to be cremated and we would like to honor her in a small family memorial. If you aren't comfortable with giving on here, please contact Sheppards Funeral home in Folkston, Ga and give directly to them. The total cost is a little over $2300 We thank you in advance and may god bless you!
