Keyonia's Love Warriors

As most of you know Keyonia "KeyKey" "Two Stacks" Lawson traveled to NYC to participate in one of her best friends' wedding. She left South Florida with what was diagnosed as the flu, but was determined to stick it out and represent in the wedding. With a temperature that surpassed more than 100 degrees, Key sought additional medical treatment, at which point she was diagnosed with strep throat. However, she was still feeling horrible and began to complain that she was unable to breathe properly, so she headed back to the hospital, where she was then diagnosed with Epiglottitis, a potentially life threatening condition that occurs when the tissue protecting the windpipe becomes inflamed. It is caused by an infection (strep) and the result is inflammation which blocks air to the lungs. Being the Unicorn that she is, KeyKey is one of less than 20,000 cases that are diagnosed a year! It is considered a very rare condition. Since being diagnosed. Keyonia has undergone two surgeries to her throat to remove the infection. It was during her last surgery that they discovered the bacteria was flesh eating.  As of today (10/15/19) she is still hospitalized. Her grandmother, brother, cousin and daughter are now by her side. And shoutout to her brother's dad who was there with her as it all unfolded!! We are kindly asking that if you are in a position to give financially, because clearly the prayers are working so please keep those going, more on that in a moment, please contribute to this GoFundMe. It is being established to assist her family who flew from Wyoming and Missouri to be by her side. In addition to the additional costs that will incur as she is hospitalized and during her recovery. It is not known how long she will be hospitalized in New York or when she will be healthy enough to fly back to South Florida. In true Keyonia form, she has been awake, alert, HAPPY and trying to communicate since the second surgery, even while incubated. Her infectious positive energy will make her recovery much faster.  She won't be down for long, but financially this will be a blow, so anything is welcomed, appreciated and accepted. Thanks in advance!
