My sister, Keyla, had her first baby, Demi, on February 11th, 2018. The doctors believed she had pneumonia since she was having trouble breathing and a bad cough for several weeks before giving birth.
They did a chest X-ray and instead found a cancerous mass in her chest larger than a grapefruit. She has been told it is incurable, but with treatment some have lived 30+ years. She begins chemo treatments next week and will need continued treatments throughout her life.
Because of the treatment she will not be able to breast feed Demi any longer and it will also render her infertile. She will be going in for a bone marrow biopsy and a PET scan soon to determine if the cancer is in her bone marrow and/or other parts of her body.
We're asking for donations to help their family with the medical bills they will be encountering in the future and please keep them all in your prayers.
