Key of She Jazz 2020 Conference

Hi! I'm Olivia, the founder and "artistic director" of Key of She Jazz. Please help us fundraise for the 2nd Annual Key of She Jazz Conference! For as long as I've been playing jazz, I've been one of the only girls in the band, and I know how important it is for girls to feel supported and encouraged to continue and for them to see women who are succeeding.
This event will bring together student musicians of all genders as well as their bandmates, music educators, parents, and jazz friends to hear great performances from women in jazz, talk about ways to support and encourage girls in jazz, recognize women who've been under recognized, and create opportunities for connection and networking for all the attendees.
The first conference was amazing and featured performers and panelists from DIVA Jazz Orchestra, the Philadelphia jazz scene, University of the Arts (our host and presenting sponsor), and much more. We can't wait for the second one and hope you will join us. (And by the way -- I misspoke in the video! It's going to be a FULL-day event of music, education, and connection!)
