Just over 18 months ago Kevin received news that would flip his world upside down. What started out as consistent headaches and just not feeling well, Kevin finally went to see a doctor. One appointment turned into two and two turned into three receiving less than favorable results with each visit. Kevin received the news that he had Stage 4 Kidney Cancer. Over the course of the last 18 months, it has aggressively spread to his liver, lungs and brain.
Kevin has been a member of the Fessler & Bowman family for nearly 20 years and gave 100% each day. Starting as a finisher, he was quickly promoted to Finisher Foreman and spent 12 years of his career in MI. Fessler & Bowman expanded out to Bossier City, LA and we knew that he had to be on that team. Without hesitation, Kevin moved across the country and became an integral team member at that location, as well. Now as a Superintendent, Kevin spearheaded his crews to some of the largest pours Fessler & Bowman has ever done and even set a company record! First, it was 48,000 square feet and then doubled to 96,000 square feet! Kevin is a devoted father of two children Lily, 22 and Seth, 18. He is currently residing in Texas with his children and is continuing this fight with faith and courage!
As most of us know, the cost of medical necessities has also doubled. Not only has it increased but upfront payments for treatments are now required. This causes unnecessary stress to someone who is already facing such challenges. We would love to do all we can to help Kevin and take this financial burden away from him!
