As said by my Uncle Kerry himself:

"I am currently fight Lung Cancer. It started back in 2007, I was very sick and went in to the ER to find out why. I had a pain in my right abdomen area and felt nauseated. They basically gave me some Tylenol and sent me home. The next day at work I was feeling very ill once again. I went back to the ER this time they found out my Gallbladder was really bad. I as admitted to the hospital to have it removed within the next day or so. During the CT scan they saw a small spot on my right lung. That is when my life as well as my wife's went completely upside down. After numerous tests and tissue samples it was found to be Non Small Cell Lung Cancer. This was just the beginning of a continuing 10 year long battle. They took out a wedge of my right lung as well as a couple of Lymph nodes in my chest area. It was followed up by radiation and chemo after I healed from the surgery. Chemo was very hard on me I was sick really sick most of the time. I needed blood transfusions that is how bad it got. I was fine after a period of time and all looked well until 2011 when a NEW cancer was found in my Left Lung. This time it was Small Cell Lung Cancer. Different type of cancer different lung?? This time they only removed the tumor in the left lung followed by chemo. No radiation this time. Once again the chemo took it's toll on me. Also Lung surgery is one of the most painful surgeries you can have. Once again after a period of time all looked as if I had made it once again. Then in 2016 yet another NEW cancer. This time it was back in the right lung. This time it was Small Cell lung cancer. The first time it was Non Small Cell. So the right lung had both types of lung cancer. They could not do surgery or radiation due to the damage the radiation treatment had done to the lung back in 2007. So my only treatment option was chemo. The first round of chemo 4 cycles seemed to slow it down but 3 months later it started back up. It had also traveled to my liver,a couple of very small spots showed up on a MRI scan. They were to smal to do a biopsy so it was just assumed it was cancer. A new chemo drug is now being used to see if it will stop the Cancer. I just finished the 4th cycle and waiting to get a CT scan to check and see what is going on. To have both types of lung cancer and to have 3 new cancers not relapses of old cancers is very very unusual according to a doctor. So here I set 6/11/2017 my birthday hoping once again the cancer is gone. I have a couple more treatment to go through. We have depleted all our funds and now need your help. Thank you for taking the time to read this and help if you can."
