Focus on Kerala flood relief 2018

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
As you all are aware, the southern Indian state of Kerala is undergoing its worst natural calamity in nearly a century. Unprecedented heavy monsoons have put the state underwater, taking the lives of more than 300 people as well as leaving more than 300,000 who suffer without shelter, food, and electricity. Thousands of people across the state have been displaced; communities and towns have been destroyed, including assembly halls which have collapsed in the flood. In this crucial situation we need to rise up and extend our helping hand to these affected people.

Good Shepherd Ministries is committed to sharing God’s love, and extending our fellowship by helping the unfortunate and underprivileged families in India. Throughout our organization’s history we have assisted those in need and this situation is no different. For immediate relief, we have decided to provide food and medicine for the victims of the flood. Good Shepherd Ministries has initiated this fund raising program to mobilize the relief efforts.
