Growing up in both Guinea and rural Texas, I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the impact of healthcare in some of the world’s most underserved regions. More importantly, I learned that kindness and community can empower! Now, I’m excited to continue pursuing my passion for international medicine through an opportunity with International Medical Aid. I will be doing a full clinical rotation at Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya! We will make weekly trips to neighboring communities where we will provide care and preventative medicine.
