Please help the students of the Kianguenyi Upper Hill School in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Njagi family of Nairobi have always been there to help others and share the love of Jesus with so many people all over the world. They give so much believing they cannot out give God.
About 10 years ago the Njagi's started a Christian school on their property. This school currently provides an education to over 500 students. The school is financially supported by tuition and the Njagi family with some of the students being solely supported by the Njagi's.
Tragically, on Sunday February 11th, a fire was started at the school destroying the entire boys dormitory. Praise God there were no casualties or injuries. . Early the next morning a second fire was started destroying half of another dorm. The Njagi's have provided as much of the immediate needs that they can and and could now really use the help of all of us!
First and foremost the family is asking for prayer. Please be praying for all those involved in this tragedy. Prayer is very powerful!!
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12
Next, if you are able to help financially and feel prompted to do so then please do. Any amount will be so helpful and deeply appreciated. In addition to providing the tangible needs it is the hope of the Njagi's that they are able to keep the children at the school and will not need to send them away.
All donations will be for the following.
* Storage Boxes for clothing and personal belongings (these are similar to a dresser)
* Blankets
* Sheets
* Uniforms
* Books
* Bed covers
* Mattresses
* Rebuilding of structures
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair. 2 Corinthians 4:8
Thank you and may God bless you abundantly!
