Kenya trip to volunteer in aid of Inspire Afrika

In July 2025, I have decided to challenge myself and give back. As many of you know I have worked in education for many years so the decision to volunteer some of my summer in a school was an easy one.

‘Inspire Afrika’ is a small but influential charity based in Malindi, Kenya who are passionate about changing the lives of others through developing the lives of children.

The children of ‘The Clive Academy’ must currently go home for lunch, but many do not, as they often have no food waiting for them. Instead they remain hungry. I am aiming to raise funds to help with travel, basic accommodation and materials and tools for use whilst we are building a kitchen within the school, as well as acquiring food supplies and essential equipment needed to prepare food.
